Nova Scotia Business Inc., in partnership with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, are currently recruiting Ocean Technology companies interested in participating in a tailored trade mission to Chile.
Much the same way that our Atlantic Provinces have been influenced and shaped by the Atlantic Ocean, so too has the more than 6400km of Chilean coast been shaped by the Pacific Ocean. With the newly ratified CPTPP agreement, the time is right to explore the opportunities in this market.
Opportunities for Canadian Ocean Technology exist in several areas such as; marine renewable energy, protection of coastal waters (tracking, sonars, underwater vision and surveillance), seabed mapping and surveys, ecosystem monitoring for protection of species, aquaculture (aqua-tech, water treatment, environmental best practices, R&D), remote monitoring, etc.

Participation in this mission includes:

  • In-market bespoke matchmaking
  • Individual support by an NSBI Export Development Executive, and ACOA International Business Development Officer
  • Ground transportation to and from B2B meetings
  • Networking opportunities
  • Interpretation

Registration fees: $575 ($500 + HST)
Companies are responsible for the cost of airfare, accommodations, meals, and any related in-market expenses. Please note that all applicants will be screened for eligibility and suitability by Nova Scotia Business Inc. and ACOA.
