Tuesday, September 1, 2020

As part of its commitment to foster Nova Scotia's low-carbon bioeconomy, the Nova Scotia Innovation Hub is pleased to partner with BioDesign and Radicle on the Sustainable Revenues from Sustainable Products webinar series exploring ways that value can be created from the positive carbon and environmental footprint of biofuels and bioproducts. If your business produces a low-carbon product or your organization is responsible for establishing or informing climate change policy, you won't want to miss this informative three-part workshop.

Session 1 Low Carbon Fuels, September 8, 2020, 1:00 pm ADT — will focus on how to derive value from low-carbon fuels under various regulatory systems and markets. Topics to be covered include methods of calculating and reporting GHG impacts, an overview of the carbon market landscape, and case studies demonstrating opportunities for monetizing reduced GHG emissions from low-carbon fuels. Register now!

Session 2 Exploring Biomaterials, September 22, 2020, 1:00 pm ADT — will focus on low-carbon biomaterials. This will include an overview of potential carbon insetting approaches for bioeconomy businesses producing non-energy bioproducts and biomaterials.
