Seafood Directory Application

Is your company currently exporting seafood outside of Nova Scotia? If so, you should register to be in the Nova Scotia Seafood Company Directory.

The Nova Scotia Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture (DFA) and Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI) are looking for export-ready seafood companies interested in being included in the Nova Scotia Seafood Company Directory (the Directory).

Throughout the year, DFA and NSBI engage in a number of international market development activities promoting Nova Scotia’s seafood industry and the sale of seafood products in markets around the globe such as China, Japan, Vietnam, United States and the European Union. These activities include trade missions, in-bound buyers’ missions, exhibitions, product promotional videos and materials, and in-market seafood preparation and displays.

The Directory is often the first point of reference when engaging in discussions about trade development opportunities. It is used as a marketing and sales tool, in print and online at nsseafood.com, for specific seafood species and product inquiries from importers and buyers.

There is no charge to register in the Directory. 

Eligibility:

• All companies must submit an application by the submission deadline.
• All applications will be reviewed for eligibility.
• To be eligible, companies must have exported a seafood product outside of Nova Scotia since July 2016.
• All companies will be notified via email whether or not they qualify for the Directory.

THIS IS A NEW APPLICATION INTAKE PROCESS. ALL COMPANIES MUST COMPLETE AND SUBMIT A NEW APPLICATION FORM TO BE INCLUDED IN THE NOVA SCOTIA SEAFOOD DIRECTORY. EVEN IF YOUR COMPANY HAS AN EXISTING PROFILE LISTING IN THE CURRENT ONLINE DIRECTORY, YOU MUST COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THE NEW APPLICATION FORM BELOW.
