Eleven companies will be honoured for their success in exporting at the Nova Scotia Export Achievement Awards, June 12.

This year’s 34th annual awards received a record number of applications under a revised format. Now, with five new categories, the awards will honour and celebrate businesses of diversity, new and innovating exporters, and those excelling nationally and internationally.

This year’s keynote speaker is Ross Simmonds, a digital marketing strategist, entrepreneur, and founder of Foundation Marketing. Simmonds will speak to his global experiences under the topic of, Embracing the Chaos: How to create opportunity from smart experiments.

“We’re proud to present a new and updated format for the awards, which includes shining a spotlight on the new, and diverse companies championing export in our province,” said Laurel Broten, president and CEO of Nova Scotia Business Inc. “Exporters in our province are working tirelessly to sell Nova Scotia goods and services to the world, and we’re excited to celebrate their accomplishments through the awards.”
