Maritime Made: Celebrating 5 Years
Nova Scotia Business Inc. celebrates fifth season of Maritime Made on Eastlink CommunityTV
From the studios, workshops, and production plants in our communities from Yarmouth to Sydney, you never know what’s being crafted and produced for use here at home or in markets oceans away. Eastlink CommunityTV’s Maritime Made takes us inside Nova Scotia operations to get an in-depth look at some of the region’s many manufacturers, following the behind-the-scenes production of goods being made right here at home.
“We have unique assets and advantages, including a highly skilled and educated workforce, our seaports and gateway, traditional and creative industries, and value-added products and services that are in and Maritime Made showcases Nova Scotians putting these assets into action.”
Season Five of Maritime Made will feature tours of both large and small manufacturers, following the production process of products from high-tech ocean hydrophones and bionic knee braces to windows, rugs, and soap.
“NSBI is proud to join Eastlink CommunityTV in celebrating the great manufacturing activities happening here, in communities from all across our region,” said Laurel Broten, President and CEO of Nova Scotia Business Inc. “As an organization working to grow Nova Scotia’s exports, this partnership shines a light on of some of the companies that NSBI is proud to work with each and every day.”
Season 5 of Maritime Made runs 7:30pm AST on Sundays on Eastlink CommunityTV channel 610.
All episodes will be available OnDemand.
