This program is now closed and we are no longer accepting applications.

The Executive Management Growth Program helps you and your company identify and develop the leadership skills needed to grow. Work with business experts to understand and address how to overcome barriers to successfully scale your company and increase sales beyond the borders of Nova Scotia. And to keep things simple, our contribution will be made directly to the engaged business expert.

Identify and overcome the gaps

Efficiently identify the gaps and get insights into what is holding your company back from taking on more international business.

Sharpen your skills, plan ahead and save time

The main difference between high and low growth companies is planning. Develop the skills to make the change in your business strategy and operational processes.

Grow your international business

Working with a business subject matter expert, overcome the barriers to taking on more international business and increase exports, business confidence, and competitiveness.

How the Executive Management Growth Program works

The program funds 75% of eligible project costs, to a maximum of $50,000 CAD, for the engagement of a consultant to provide the professional expertise required to scale your business.

No one understands your business better than you, so we're leaving the executive consultant business identification up to you. Consultant businesses may be growth coaches, management consultants, or others with the expertise to provide individualized, executive professional development to assist in the overcoming of internal hurdles to growth.

The project must clearly demonstrate a beneficial impact to your business' operations in Nova Scotia with respect to improvements in business strategy, operations, leadership skills/development, revenue generation, profitability, productivity or competitiveness.

Program commitments

To maximize the impact and benefits of the project, businesses are expected to commit the appropriate personnel, time, and financial resources necessary to develop and implement recommendations from its consultant as appropriate.
