Leroy Lowe is a former Aerospace Engineering Officer and Project Manager in the Canadian Airforce. He previously worked for Sparton of Canada. As Director of Business Development, he recruited and managed a diverse network of agents, distributors and strategic alliance partners in more than 20 countries. Currently, he is a full-time faculty member in International Business at the Nova Scotia Community College and an active international business development specialist for Mxi Technologies Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree, a diploma in engineering and Master Degrees in Adult Education (MAEd) and Business Administration (MBA). He is also a Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) and a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP).
Work in recent years has taken him to numerous Pacific Rim countries as well as the United Kingdom and the United States. Most recently, Leroy was part of the NASBITE task force that helped develop the Certified Global Business professional (CGBP) designation in the United States. He was also one of the senior task force members in Canada who helped FITT update the competencies required for the comparable designation in Canada, the Certified International Trade Professional (CITP).
J. Barrie Reid has more than 27 year's senior industry experience in sales, marketing and general management. The main areas of his work have been focused in the service, packaged consumer goods, beverage industries and giftware industries; with both large multi-national companies and small entrepreneurial businesses.
Barrie has extensive national and international experience involving sales, product management, business development, marketing implementation, logistics, exporting and licensing of products. Barrie is currently a full-time faculty member in the International Business Advanced Diploma program at the Nova Scotia Community College, Truro Campus. He is a Certified International Trade Professional (C.I.T.P.) from the Forum for International Trade Training, a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) from Nasbite the American Trade Training Institute and a Certified Sales Professional (CSP) from The Canadian Professional Sales Association.
Pernille Fischer Boulter
Pernille Fischer Boulter is the President and Founder of Kisserup International Trade Roots Inc., an international consulting and trade training company with offices in Canada and Europe. Before moving to Canada in 1998 and founding Kisserup, she lived and worked in Europe for more than 20 years. She speaks five languages and has worked on projects in more than 40 countries.
As a result of this global experience, Pernille and Kisserup have increasingly been retained to provide mentoring, consulting and international trade training services to both the private and public sectors. From 2002-2008, Pernille was a member of the Federal Small & Medium Exporters Advisory Board to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade representing Nova Scotia. In 2006, 2007 and 2008 she was nominated for the RBC Canadian Woman Entrepreneur Award and in 2007 she was awarded the Women of Excellence Award from the Canadian Progress Club Halifax-Cornwallis.
Pernille holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Copenhagen, Denmark and a business degree from the Aarhus University of Denmark.
Paula (Lunn) Greene
Paula is President and CEO of Beyond Ventures Group Inc., based in Halifax, N.S. Canada. A Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) with a Masters Certificate in Project Management from St Mary’s University, Paula possesses a strong technical background in international business including experience with management of international distribution networks. She has a keen understanding of the international marketplace, supply chain and business development processes. Leveraging her extensive experience in the international business environment, Paula provides professional training and consulting services to private and public organizations with business and market development focus across multiple sectors.
Paula is a Going Global Delivery Partner, a Content Advisory Panel (CAP) member and has been an Item Writer for the Forum for International Trade Training, Ottawa, Canada. She delivers the FITTSkills program for Nova Scotia Business Inc., has authored International Marketing Curriculum, and co-authored the six-part certificate-granting curriculum Supply Chain Essentials. She has several Workplace Educator certificates through the Department of Labour and Advanced Education, The Executive Presence™ Leadership Development Certification, Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW), Facilitator Development Workshop (FDW) and Trainer Development Workshop (TDW) certification. She serves as a guest lecturer at universities and secondary institutions and has been asked to serve as an expert panelist for FITT and CME.

Helen Graham is a Business Administration Instructor and International Program Manager at Marconi Campus, Nova Scotia Community College. Helen has her own international consulting firm, Graham Global Management Services. She also teaches international business and marketing courses to MBA students at Cape Breton University. Helen has more than 32 years experience in public relations, economic development and international business.
Helen Graham offers her clients innovative, practical advice and solutions for developing new market opportunities. She works with her clients to understand the complexities of exporting, evaluating opportunities and making well-researched decisions.
She has 18 years direct experience in international business, seven as a Sr. Trade Officer with Enterprise Cape Breton Corporation. She has led trade missions to the United States and Europe and worked one-on-one with more than 100 companies (SMEs) to help them with all aspects of exporting, with particular emphasis on logistics and marketing. Helen has worked in a variety of sectors including: education, seafood, wood products, boat building, advanced manufacturing, craft and food products.
She is a Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) and holds a Bachelor of Public Relations Degree and a Masters of Business Administration (Marketing).
