CanCham Shanghai Membership
Interested in doing business in Shanghai, China?
Nova Scotia Business Inc., through its relationship with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai (CanCham), is extending its membership benefits to Nova Scotia exporters ready to do business in Shanghai. As the pre-eminent member organization supporting Canadian business and community interests in Eastern China, CanCham Shanghai fosters connections within the Canadian business community and with its Chinese counterparts.
What exactly are the membership benefits of the CanCham Shanghai Membership?
The membership benefits include up to five (5) sector-specific business referral inquiries (B2B meetings) per extended member (based on CanCham network).
In addition to making business connections, CanCham provides access to meeting space and basic interpretation services and assists businesses in connecting with reliable resources at discounted rates such as drivers, accommodations, venues and travel services.
Who can participate in the CanCham Shanghai Membership benefits?
The membership benefits are potentially available to Nova Scotia exporters ready to do business in Shanghai. To be eligible, companies must:
- already be an exporter
- have shown interest in the Chinese market in the past
- provide a timeline of their travel plans, objectives and services required from CanCham at least four weeks in advance of travel
How do I apply?
To apply, companies must submit a request of interest to their designated Export Development Executive or Regional Business Development Advisor at NSBI. If you do not have a designated contact at NSBI, please contact the Regional Business Development Advisor in your area.
Requests to participate will be accepted until July 15, 2018. Travel must take place prior to the expiry of the membership on August 31, 2018.
