About Acadian Maple
Acadian Maple is proud to be celebrating its 35th year, providing quality Canadian maple syrup to Nova Scotia and the rest of the world.
Acadian Maple is a family owned and operated business located in Upper Tantallon, and is the largest purchaser and processor of Nova Scotia-produced maple syrup, preserves, coffee and confections. Exporting to markets worldwide, and constantly developing new products, Acadian Maple continues to grow.
The company’s next-level growth began in 2009, when the decision was made to build a new facility that consolidated the production plant, warehouse, offices, and retail shop, as well as the addition of a new agri-tourism venue to cater to tourists. The new facility that produces all of its maple syrup products, now sees in excess of 30,000 visitors a year.
In 2012, the focus started shifting towards quality management and continuous improvement activities. Acadian Maple is now a SQF level 2 food safety certified facility and runs a growing and unique continuous improvement program, blending tools from lean manufacturing, the Toyota production system, food safety and six sigma.
As the company continues to grow and adapt, the owners look forward to new challenges, opportunities, and the chance to have a ton of fun.
