The Ontario Government, in partnership with Canadian provinces and territories, is proud to host the True North Free Trade Forum, a unique virtual opportunity where companies and attendees will exchange ideas and explore new business opportunities in interprovincial trade.

Aimed at strengthening business ties across Canada to support economic recovery, the virtual True North Free Trade Forum 2022 will look at the challenges and opportunities presented by COVID-19, as well as how increasing pan-Canadian trade could add up to $84 billion to Canada’s GDP.

The 2022 bilingual Forum will bring together businesses in the Food and Beverage and Information Technology sectors across the country. Topics such as food processing, cybersecurity and IT solutions will be featured, and digital privacy and data protection issues will also be addressed.

Why attend the True North Free Trade Forum? As a participant, you will access:

  • A half-day of content in English and French on interprovincial/territorial trade and current, local market conditions
  • Sessions that highlight latest industry trends, business insights and opportunities from targeted regional markets across Canada
  • A curated and flexible business-to-business matchmaking event, taking place April 6-8 that will facilitate business connections between suppliers and key buyers from across Canada with specified sourcing needs
  • Networking opportunities amongst Canadian companies and stakeholders for potential partnership and collaboration opportunities

To register for the B2B matchmaking program (April 6-8), please complete the ICT or Food & Beverage Expression of Interest form by March 25, 2022.
