Nova Scotia Business Inc., in partnership with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and the Atlantic Provinces, is currently seeking Nova Scotia agri-food and beverage companies interested in attending SIAL Paris 2018.

SIAL Paris is one of the largest food and beverage shows in the world, and attracts approximately 155,000 qualified buyers from 194 countries. In 2016, participants in the Canada Pavilion occupied 607.5 square meters and represented a variety of Canadian products. This event provides companies with an excellent opportunity to visit new markets, exchange information and ideas with the world’s agri-food players, and stay connected to trends and innovation in the industry.

Companies applying to participate should already be exporting outside of Nova Scotia. Companies will be asked to submit a profile, outlining their reasons and objectives for attending.

Participation on this mission includes:

  • Pre-mission training via webinars
  • On-site CETA seminars, in-market training, and education
  • In-market tour with transportation services
  • Business networking and reception
  • A curated list of 4-5 recommended companies to visit while at SIAL
  • Opportunity to attend conferences hosted by industry experts
  • Attendance at SIAL Paris

Registration Fee: $575.00 ($500 + $75 HST) per company

Companies are responsible for all expenses related to travel, accommodation and meals. Interested companies may be eligible for funding through the Export Growth Program
