Nova Scotia Business Inc., in partnership with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, is currently recruiting export-ready agri-food and beverage companies from Nova Scotia interested in participating as a co-exhibitor in the Canada Pavilion at the Food and Hotel Asia tradeshow, taking place April 24 - 27, 2018.

Food and Hotel Asia (FHA 2018) is held every two years in Singapore. It is the most significant and comprehensive food and beverage event in South East Asia. In 2016, FHA attracted 47,630 trade visitors (41.4% overseas). There were 58 international pavilions and 3,198 exhibiting companies from 71 countries. Participants of the 2016 Canada Pavilion occupied 324 square metres of space and represented a variety of Canadian agri-food and beverage products. 

We expect even more from FHA in 2018. It will be an excellent marketplace with plenty of networking and business prospecting opportunities for everyone in the food and hospitality industry.

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada will once again host a Canadian Pavilion at FHA 2018. The Nova Scotia booth, which will be part of the Canada pavilion, is an open concept, shared space which will include a Chef and Chef Station where the participating co-exhibitors can have samples of their products prepared and shared with potential buyers. 

As a co-exhibitor, each company will receive:

• Two exhibitor passes
• Co-exhibitor booth space, which includes: company signage, individual counter/stand with company logo, and two stools 
• Access to shared meeting space with tables and chairs
• Access to Chef Station and Services Booth to prepare product samples (each company is responsible for providing the product to be prepared)
• $500 reimbursement allowance towards the cost of shipping the product (s)

*This trade mission may also include an extra in-market activity. To be confirmed.
 

Registration fee: $1750.00 ($1500.00 + $250.00 HST)

• Registrants will be screened for eligibility. Space is limited. Each company is responsible for the cost of all travel, accommodation, and meals in market.
• Registration fee is payable to Taste of Nova Scotia. Each registrant will be contacted to confirm participation and method of payment.
