CANCELLED: New Glasgow - FITTskills: International Trade Finance

As part of the Export Development Education Program, Nova Scotia Business Inc., in partnership with the Nova Scotia Association of Community Business Development Corporations (CBDC), is pleased to offer a FITTskills Course in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia.

The Export Development Education Program was developed to provide Nova Scotia companies with direct access to export education and resources throughout the province and to encourage companies – whether they are curious about exporting, new exporters, or looking to expand their business into new markets – to explore a plan to move forward.

About FITTskills - International Trade Finance
In order to have a successful business, at the end of the day you’ve got to get paid. The FITTskills International Trade Finance course will teach you how to manage your global trade transactions, mitigate your international financial risks, and develop a sound financial plan that will help ensure your business’ success.  You will explore the nature and scope of trade finance, particularly the “Four Pillars” of trade finance—payment facilitation, risk management, financing and the provision of information related to a transaction.
