NSBI, in partnership with the Nova Scotia Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture and the Department of Agriculture, is currently seeking export-ready companies interested in participating on an inbound buyers’ mission from Nigeria.

The Nigerian delegation will be made up of both private sector and public sector delegates. The majority of companies from the delegation will be buyers for seafood; however, there will also be interest in other industries including agri-food and beverage, energy, ICT and ocean technology.

The inbound buyers’ mission will include the following activities:

  • Trade Summit: Doing Business in Nova Scotia and Nigeria (West Africa)
  • Business to Business Meetings

AGENDA

Monday, March 25th

  • 8:00am - 8:30am: Registration and Networking
  • 8:30am - 12:00pm: Trade Summit - Doing Business in Nova Scotia and Nigeria (West Africa)
  • 12:00pm - 1:00pm: Lunch and Networking with Buyers
  • 1:00pm - 4:00pm: Business to Business Meetings (NSBI will contact Nova Scotia companies to pre-arrange meetings with the Nigerian delegations)

Tuesday, March 26th

  • 8:00am - 8:30am: Registration and Networking
  • 8:30am - 12:00pm: Trade Summit - Doing Business in Nova Scotia and Nigeria (West Africa)
  • 12:00pm - 1:00pm: Lunch and Networking with Buyers
  • 1:00pm - 4:00pm: Business to Business Meetings (NSBI will contact Nova Scotia companies to pre-arrange meetings with the Nigerian delegations)

NOTE: Light refreshments for Breakfast and Breaks and Lunch will be provided each day.
