Halifax Oyster Festival

The third annual Halifax Oyster Festival is back on the Halifax Waterfront offering the unique convergence of Maritime sea and land terriors. This year we will have 18 oyster farms onsite making this the biggest oyster festival in Canada. 

Each 3-hour tasting sessions include:

-All-you-can-sample raw oysters from 18 Canadian oyster farms. Meet and speak with Nova Scotia seafarmers who have generations of knowledge about oyster farming in the Atlantic. 

-A selection of chowder, bbq and other eats to purchase

-Wine, craft beer, cider, caesars samples to purchase

-3rd annual Nova Scotia Oyster Shucking Competition on the Gahan House stage hosted by Canadian Shucking champion Daniel Notkin. 

-Amateur and pro caesar drink making competition presented by Walter Caeser Mix
