To strengthen and grow the Nova Scotia economy, NSBI’s primary efforts are focused on helping Nova Scotia businesses grow exports through access to business advisory services, skills development and training, market intelligence, access to financing, support in accessing global markets, and by attracting innovative, globally competitive companies to establish a business location in Nova Scotia.
Job Opportunity: Director, Digital Strategy (Two-year term)

Have you developed and implemented a digital footprint in a progressive client-service environment?
If you answered yes to these questions, you could join NSBI as our new Director of Digital Strategy. We are seeking a decisive leader who knows how to motivate cross-functional teams to build the right products to best serve our clients and drive results.
The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team that provides high-quality programs and services through our dedicated and passionate client-facing account executives, marketing and support staff. Together, we will help more Nova Scotia companies make their first export sale, increase their export revenue, and show more international companies how the Nova Scotia strategic advantage will help their firm innovate and grow.
As the Director, Digital Strategy, you will be responsible for digital service standards, planning and managing digital projects, and leading the delivery of a user-centric platform for NSBI clients and staff. You will also identify key performance indicators for digital solutions while developing and collaboratively implementing a digital solutions action plan using both new and existing technologies.
As the successful candidate, you possess a bachelor’s degree with a focus in Business, Marketing, Communications or Information Technology-related fields, plus a minimum of two years of senior level management or director-level experience with digital transformation, development and implementation of digital strategy, and digital service standards. You possess a strong understanding of change management, can lead complex projects from inception to completion, and take a holistic approach to IT management, marketing, strategy and communications. You understand and stay up to date with current industry trends and public sensitivities associated with digital adoption and are knowledgeable about public accountability requirements. Self-driven with a growth mindset, you are a creative disrupter and effective change manager.
