Immigrating to Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia Office of Immigration

The Nova Scotia Office of Immigration promotes immigration to our province and selects immigrants through a provincial nominee program. This website provides valuable resources for people interested in moving to Nova Scotia for business and personal reasons.

Business immigrants are people who are able to start a business in Canada, or invest in an existing business. Immigrants in this category must be experienced in the business sector and must support the development of the Canadian economy.  There are three different categories of business immigrant: Investor, Entrepreneur, and Self-Employed. More information about applying to be a business immigrant is available on the CIC web site.
