Originally introduced to the company in a junior role, Peter was eventually appointed to a management position. In this role, he ran a number of back office departments that handled high volume transactions for all of TD’s brokerage clients.
In 2001, Peter moved back to Nova Scotia where he began his career with NSBI. As the Director of Compliance & Risk Management, he worked closely with staff to develop and implement process and transaction protocol.
In March 2004, Peter was appointed to the Director, Corporate Services, and manages staff in accounting, information technology, office management, industrial property, and Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIPOP).
Peter has an undergraduate degree in science with a major in Math from St. Francis Xavier University. He has participated in such events as the Bluenose Marathon and volunteers with LifeBus, a bi-monthly blood donor clinic. He and his wife, Nicole, live in Halifax with their four children, Noah, Liam, Erin and Emma.
