At TD Waterhouse, Peter held a managerial role that involved running a number of back office departments handling high-volume transactions for all of TD’s brokerage clients.
Peter began his NSBI career as the Director of Compliance & Risk Management, working closely with staff to develop and implement process and transaction protocol. In 2004, he was appointed to the Director of Corporate Services, and currently manages staff in accounting, information technology, office management, industrial property and information resources.
Peter has initiated two internal volunteer committees since joining NSBI. The ‘green’ team, which brings sustainable practice inside the office, and an internal ‘community’ team, which is looking at how NSBI employees can give back to communities across the province. He also actively volunteers with LifeBus, a bimonthly blood donor clinic.
Peter has an undergraduate degree in science with a major in Math from St. Francis Xavier University. He and his wife, Nicole, enjoy living in Halifax with their four children, Noah, Liam, Erin and Emma.
