Wendy Luther, Trade Development Executive – Wendy joined Nova Scotia Business Inc. in early 2005. In her role as a Trade Development Executive, she is devoted to helping Nova Scotia companies expand their exports. Responsible for service sector industries - Wendy has led trade missions to Hong Kong, China, Germany, Barbados and Trinidad & Tabago.
Bringing a vast international network to the table, Wendy is at the ready when it comes to linking companies with contacts on any continent. Her tip for tapping into new markets is to do business in person – advice which she takes to heart. She’s spent a substantial amount of her career traveling to markets and knows first-hand the value of face-to-face meetings, which is reflected in the quality of her network.
Born in Vancouver, B.C. , Wendy graduated with an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of British Columbia and worked in the advertising industry before moving to Halifax in 2001. In Halifax, Wendy joined the Atlantic Canada World Trade Centre team as their Trade Consultant. Wendy attained her Certified International Trade Professional designation, organized the 2002 General Assembly of the World Trade Centres Association and ran numerous trade missions before joining NSBI.
